Only 1 week till Tyler's 1st Birthday! OMG

Only 1 week away from my son Tyler's first birthday, and I'm SOOOOOOO excited. More than him I'm sure!! LOL. I cannot wait to watch him eat his cake all on his own. I'll be doing the small family thing this time around. Anyone have good First birthday stories or ideas perhaps. I just can't believe it's already been a year since I gave birth to him. It seems like yesterday. And now we're talking about ttc'ing for baby #2. Wow.

I've always done family and close friends only for the 1st b-day parties. My ODS wanted nothing to do with his cake on his 1st, which cracks me up because now he's all about cake (he's . My DD, loved her cake so much she had it in her hair! LOL You never know how they will react!

ya, my niece wasn't that into her cake either, just kind of picking at it and putting little pieces in her mouth until her uncle(my DH) started saying OH NO and putting his hands on his head, then she decided to copy him and she got chocolate cake and icing from her head to her toes!! lol. It was hilarious!! And my nephew, well he loved it so much he dumped his bowl on his head!! He had cake and icecream all over, in his eyes, his hair! We've got tons of pictures. I hope my son enjoys it, I know I will!!

That is so exciting! Make sure and post pictures. We love looking at pics here and a baby covered in cake and icing is right up my alley!

Ok you upload your pics to photobucket or another picture hosting site and then you can resize them. I usually make them medium. Then you copy the HTML code provided for that picture and come over here and click on the button above the reply box that looks like a silver 8 on its side. Its the 8th button from the left. Then you paste your HTML code there and hit ok. It should put your picture into your message. You have to be careful because for some reason it likes to put my pics in twice for me. So I have to go through and take out one everytime I add. I HTH and it wasnt too confusing.
