question for all you non scheduled csection mommies

I am scheduled to have my csection on 12/5, I will be exactly 38 weeks at that time. My question is this...

My dr has said, my "body seems to know what it is supposed to do this time" (this will be csec number 4 for me) and over the last couple of days, I have been very aware of my "innards down there" I wouldn't say I've been crampy, but I wouldn't say I haven't been either.

I have read all the signs of labor etc, but what does it actually feel like? Can anyone describe it? Since I am having the scheduled csect, she hasn't really checked to see if I was dialating etc (my last dr did starting at 32 weeks just in case) and my last 3 preg, I have started to dialate but never making it past 3cm before the surgery.

I am nervous this time, because it just feels different lol

Well for me.. when my labor started with DD if felt like I overate. I felt bloated, full and crampy. Then the contractions started. I didn't really notice much difference down there, and was only 3 or 4 cm when I made it to the hospital.

I would have doc check at your next appointment if your getting worried. I think crampy is kind of normal as they get bigger and start engaging and such. ( of course I'm no expert..LOL)

I am all of a sudden a bottomless pit. I have eaten more in the past 2 days than I have over the course of the last few weeks it feels like! lol

I am just so aware of my innards, its making me nervous lol

You may be having braxton hicks... I noticed sometimes I would get these cramps every so often and I would end up being dilated at an appointment. You never know! Your body could just be starting to get ready for this baby! You're due in December, right?

I am concerned only because it would be an emergency csection - since ive already had 3 there is not a dr around that would let me labor naturally
