Logan Benjamin has arrived!

Logan Benjamin Sietz was born Thursday, Sept 25 at 10:14 am. He weighed 8lbs 2.4oz and is 21 inches long. He is adorable!

YAY!!! Congratulations! I can't believe you were able to post already. I guess everything went smoothly. Can't wait to see pictures. Hope you get to come home soon.

Congrats!!!! Does your hospital have wireless!!! LOL...ours does but Dh has banned the laptop!!!! I can't wait to see pictures and I hope your recovery goes smoothly.

Okay - here is the story....

Thursday morning, we went to the hospital and Logan Benjamin was born via c-section at 10:14am. Alex, (my DH) was in the OR with me and even was able to peek as he was coming out..he saw the feet first, and then the rest of his body emerge. I was just happy when I heard him crying - his lungs worked perfectly! I was also going to have a tubal, but ended up with 1/2 a tubal...they tied the left tube but the right side was too close to a blood vessel, so a 1/2 tubal = the same as no tubal. I was very naseuous most of Thursday..ended up throwing up most of whatever I eat, but the GD seems to be just that - gestational...

We were able to come today, but will be having a visit from a visiting nurse tomorrow to check on me and to check Logan's Billirubin..he's jaundiced, more than normal so he has the Billi-blanket - but at least he's home with it. Hopefully it will do its job and his levels will go down quickly and he'll only have to wear it for a day or two.

My incision isn't too bad -- thankfully no staples this time - only have one spot that really hurts when I move, but not too bad otherwise.

I'll post more pictures tomorrow or later in the week...we'll see how the night goes!
