I need name advice!

So, I don't know if my LO is a girl baby or a boy baby because at my 20 week ultrasound they weren't able to get the shots they needed and they said that baby was in an akward position so they weren't able to tell gender. I go back in 2 weeks when I'll be 26 weeks and hopefully we will find out then. However, I have serious mothers intuition and I really think I'm having a boy! My dh are having an arguement about names and I could really use some adivce! My DS is Evan Michael. I'm thinking if this little one is a boy I like the name Owen Anthony. My husband likes the name also but is concerned about how similar the name Owen is to Evan. I don't think they are that similar. I think their word structure is similar but not the actual name. What do you guys think? Do you think I could use the name Owen even though my DS is Evan??? I would really like some naming advice!

Amanda- I say use Owen Anthony.I love the way it sounds...I don't think the names are that close and besides one starts with an "O" and one starts with an "E"...Very nice name!

those names sound perfect together! Evan and Owen! That name is great! I think you should stick to your guns. It may grow on your DH!

I agree with everyone. I think Owen Anthony is a great name and is not similar to Evan. The names Owen and Evan do sound nice together too, as brothers.

I think the name Owen Anthony is wonderful! I can see why your DH thinks they are similar. They each have 2 syllables and both are Vowel Consonant Vowel Consonant and they both end with the letter N. However, they are different sounding and they kind of have a great ring to them. Just yell out - "Evan and Owen get your butts into this house right now!" Sounds good to me!
