Vent of a bad wife

Well.. I just left my husband at the grocery store. WE are supposed to be, trying to do more things together but we are there and he keeps running off. I’m like what are you doing? He is shopping, I tell him ummh we will get to it? But he wants to do it himself… that sorta defeats the whole purpose of doing it together. I tell him this he gets mean and tells me something about just trying to get done before next week… which I assume is a crack about how slow I walk..
I try again to be nice and tell him I would really like to do this together he tells me he would really like to do it himself, he doesn’t need me, He says it real nasty then goes let me just finish this. Like I’m incompetent of grocery shopping.. you know the one who has been doing it for the past two years of marriage .. so I say fine and grab my purse and leave. I get part of the way home and turn around go back see him standing on the side of the road a smug look on his face I roll down the window and ask for my wic vouchers he is in the middle of telling me how little he spent (didn’t get the half the stuff I can tell from the three bags he is holding and the unused wic voucher) and I just roll up the window an drive off..
I’m trying to tell myself that wasn’t to mean its only a 30 min walk home and after all he said he doesn’t need me.. Now I have to go grocery shopping and I don’t even know what he got and what he didn’t.. we HAVE to have milk and eggs tonight though I was suppose to bake cookies but we didn’t have eggs and now its like eight at night I’m going to be up forever jdoiank he makes me so mad!

I would of grabbed the WIC vouchers and left his butt too! Seems like he sure made a point to get his stuff and not yours. Sorry girl but no I don't think you are a bad wife at all!

I came home instead of going to wal-mart to get the milk eggs and such of wic land 
because i wasn't sure he had his keys.. he didn't then he got mad at me for not letting him in fast enough he had to knock AND ring the door bell ooh my.. i was peeing! its like what i do now you know? I shoulda just left his butt sitting on the stoop and got my food!
But he did end up going around midnight and we had a pretty good night after we talked a bit.

I love that you did that! I'm sure he doesn't but at least he wasn't jerk enough to not come home. My DF would have just not come for lord knows how long. lol Good for you, and good for talking after it.
